with gorgonzola sauce
Dip the frozen knödel still frozen in boiling and slightly salted water and cook them for about 18 minutes, in the meantime prepare the sauce. Heat the cream in a small saucepan and add the gorgonzola and cook on a low flame until the cheese has melted completely,and you have obtained a homogeneous sauce. When the knödel are ready, drain them and serve them with the gorgonzola sauce.
We recommend the spinach knödel, which are also excellent if only in melted butter and served with a fresh sauerkraut or cabbage salad.
